When you involve so much in work and have no activity other than that, it will start changing your normal behavior, your eating and sleeping patterns change. You feel depressed all the time. You feel down and emotional. It leaves you nervous and demotivated. You feel confused about things and disappointed with yourself. That can be a stigma to your social life as well. You fall ill and feel and behave strangely. Talking to your spouse and employers will help you cope with it. They will tell you to involve into different activates other than work. You can play sports and go for golf or other sports you are interested in. Recreational activities decrease levels of anxiety and as a result your ability to work will also increase. Feeling sad and demotivated from time to time is a normal feeling and everyone has them at some point in life. But if this continues for more than a few weeks than you need motivation. Take some days off from work and play sports or spend time with your family or go out for holidays. Adopt a healthy, fun and a well balanced lifestyle. It will help you in getting refreshed and motivated to perform more hard work. Work load and unsociable hours are the main reasons of depression, companies should acknowledge this fact and try to eliminate them. If you’re feeling miserable, sometimes it can be better to take some time off work to recover rather than make yourself feel worse by stressed on when you’re actually too ill to work.

While people have different liking when it comes to how much they blend their work and home life, creating some clear restrictions between these two can reduce the potential for work-life conflict and the stress that goes with it. Always take time to recharge. To avoid the negative effects of work overload and burnout we need to set aside some time for ourselves. Switching off from work for some period by neither engaging in work-related activities nor think about work is crucial. Set your preferences and needs to make you fit. Don’t waste your vacation days. When you get time unwind and relax and you will feel revived. For getting a quick boost just turn off your smartphones and focus on non-work related activities for a while. Do exercise and meditation regularly. It will melt away all the boredom and stress.
